The mission of the RMIB is to promote the Berlin-Brandenburg region as a center of excellence for Regenerative Medicine particularly for cell-based medical biotechnology. The activities of the partners focus on the further development of cooperation between science and industry e.g. through the initiation of researcher and user networks, the establishment of communication structures, and a common location marketing strategy.
The RMIB promotes networking in the field and supports the further development of clinical studies and education programs. In addition, we support the commercialization of new developments in Regenerative Medicine and conduct public relations. In order to positively strengthen competitiveness, the RMIB promotes networking at both regional and international level and brings together American, Asian and European initiatives. The initiative fosters the collaboration between universities, research institutes, companies (including SMEs) and organizations in the field of science and technology.
