Bioresponse is an interdisciplinary research and development organisation with members from Brandenburg, Berlin and Saxony. It focusses on the development and marketing of multiplex assays for diagnostic antibody identification based on the proprietary BioResponse technology, which is comprised of fully automated image analysis of fluorescence-encoded microparticles and labelled cell structures.

The simultaneous determination of multiple diagnostic parameters in patients’ sera or the investigation of several inhibitors of biochemical pathways in a cellular system are two examples for cost-saving multi-parameter analytics in medical diagnostics and in pharma & life science research, respectively. In 2008, the system AKLIDES that consists of a Hep2 immunofluorescence assay and an ANA bead assay are being introduced to the market.
